Here are some simple yet effective tips to boost your account security

We value your account security and want to help you keep your hard-earned coins and skins safe.

Here are some tips to help boost your account security:

1. Strong Passwords:

  • Length and Complexity: Use a password that's at least 8 characters long with a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. A longer, more complex password is harder to crack.

  • Uniqueness: Avoid reusing passwords from other sites. A unique password for Rewardly protects you even if another account is compromised.

  • Password Managers: Consider using a reputable password manager. They generate and securely store strong passwords, so you don't have to remember them all.

2. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):

Enable 2FA for an extra layer of security. It requires a verification code from your phone in addition to your password, making it much harder for unauthorized access. Check our "Two-Factor Authentication" support article for details on how to set this up.

3. Beware of Phishing:

  • Suspicious Links: Never click on links in emails or messages that seem suspicious or ask for your Rewardly login details. Always access Rewardly directly through the official app or website.

  • Verify Email Senders: Double-check the sender's email address before clicking links or providing personal information. Official Rewardly emails will come from a legitimate "@rewardly.gg" domain.

4. Secure Your Devices:

  • Strong Device Passcodes: Use strong passcodes, PINs, or biometric authentication (fingerprint/face ID) to protect your phone and computer.

  • Software Updates: Keep your operating system and apps updated to patch security vulnerabilities.

  • Antivirus/Anti-malware: Use reputable security software to protect your devices.

5. Account Activity Monitoring:

Regularly review your account activity for anything unusual. If you see unfamiliar logins or transactions, contact support immediately.

6. Protect Against XSS Attacks:

While Rewardly takes measures to prevent Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks, it's wise to be aware of this potential threat. Avoid pasting untrusted code, especially from sources like browser developer tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools), into any input fields on Rewardly. While experimenting in your own browser is generally safe, pasting arbitrary JavaScript from unknown or untrusted sources can be risky.

7. Contact Support:

If you suspect your account has been compromised or notice any suspicious activity, contact Rewardly support immediately.

By following these tips, you can significantly improve your account security and protect your rewards. Stay safe and happy earning!
