Managing your password and recovering your account if you've forgotten your login details.
Managing Your Password:
You can update your password directly within the Rewardly app:
Open the App: Launch the Rewardly app on your device.
Go to Settings: Navigate to the Settings section (usually represented by a gear icon).
Account Settings: Look for "Account" or "Security" settings.
Change Password: Select the option to change your password. You'll be prompted to enter your current password and then your new password twice for confirmation.
Password Best Practices:
Strong Passwords: Choose a strong, unique password that is at least 8 characters long and includes a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid using easily guessable information like your birthday or pet's name.
Unique Passwords: Don't reuse the same password across multiple websites or services. A unique password for Rewardly helps protect your account even if one of your other accounts is compromised.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): We strongly recommend enabling 2FA for added security. This adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a code from your mobile device in addition to your password.
Recovering Your Password (Logged Out):
If you've forgotten your password and are logged out of the app, you can reset it using the email address associated with your Rewardly account:
Password Reset: On the login screen, select the "Forgot Password?" or similar option.
Enter Email: Enter the email address associated with your account.
Check Your Inbox: You'll receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. Follow the link provided in the email to create a new password.
Recovering Your Account (Social Provider Login):
If you created your Rewardly account using a social provider (e.g., Google, Facebook), you'll need to recover access to that account first. Once you've regained access to your social provider account, you should be able to log in to Rewardly automatically. If you still have trouble accessing Rewardly, please contact our support team. If you're experiencing persistent issues with password management or account recovery, or if you no longer have access to the email address associated with your account, please contact our support team through the designated channels. We'll do our best to help you regain access to your Rewardly account. Provide as much information as possible, including your Rewardly username, any previous email addresses associated with the account, and details about how you created the account (email/password or social provider).
